BMI Research: Indonesia Defence & Security Report: Executive Summary.

The article reports on the state of defense and security in Indonesia as of the first quarter of 2011. The peaceful parliamentary and presidential elections in 2004 and 2009 serve as evidence that democracy is taking place efficiently. There is growing resentment in the Muslim population due to the issue of Christinisation brought by evangelical protestant groups. The Indonesian economy, being isolated, was not affected by the global financial crisis (GFC).
