Abstract
- The article reports on the move of the U.S. War Production Board (WPB) to reduce the permitted use of paper containers by five percent. WPB is expected to impose another five percent cut due to the shortage of raw materials. According to the Combined Pulp and Paper Committee, there will be 27 percent paper pulp deficits in 1944.
