- The article presents a weight-loss program that takes advantage of seasonal fruits and vegetables during winter. Registered dietitian Becky Hand offers a 10-week winter eating plan that can help lose weight while enjoying nature. It shows how to plan three meals and two snacks per day for a total of 1,400 calories. The article offers recipes that use late-fall and winter fruits and vegetables.
