The article discusses federal rules and regulations affecting allocations and price control in the U.S. in 1944. The Office of Price Administration (OPA) ruling which permit meat retailers to provide adequate supplies of meat to hotels and restaurants in sparsely settled areas and the OPA ruling concerning shoe manufacturers of rationed shoes are tackled. The War Production Board (WPB) order prohibiting the use of moisture vapor barrier material for the Army and Navy is also noted.
