Abstract

During the production of low-dosage tablets, segregation can cause variations in content uniformity. Fluidization during the transfer of ingredients from the blender to the bin, and then to the tablet press, could account for this segregation. The authors modified equipment and a manufacturing process to re-establish content uniformity among tablets. This article evaluates the results of those modifications. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
