Abstract
- The article presents information on the first flight of the X-47B Unmanned Combat Air System-Demonstration (UCAS-D) aircraft, overseen by members of the U.S. Navy's Unmanned Combat Air System Program Office (PMA- 268), and Northrop Grumman Corp. [NOC]. The flight was tested at Edwards Air Force Base in California. Comments of captain Jaime Engdahl, UCAS-D program manager at PMA-268, are given.
