The article presents an analysis of legal and regulatory risk in Israel as of March 2011. The country has low legal and regulatory risk and a strong and independent judiciary. The activist and independent position of the Supreme Court on issues of civil and religious rights has raised the ire of some political groups. It is noted that companies cannot operate efficiently due to outdated and difficult to reform regulatory agencies.
