Abstract

The article focuses on the first recorded specimen of the snake species Coelognathus radiatus from Ananthagiri Hills in Eastern Ghats, Andhra Pradesh, India. It states that the live specimen has been encountered, captured, and examined near a coffee plantation in the area during a biodiversity survey. It also discusses the characteristics and physical features of the snake species including its large and relatively slender body, scutellation, and aggressive behavior.
