Abstract

The article discusses the benefits of using desulphogypsum in the locomotive industry in Great Britain. It states that the compound is considered as the best measure for companies to combat climate change, and it can also be used in place of a naturally occurring mineral to avoid the costs and environmental effects of quarrying and mining. It also mentions several locomotive companies which use desulphogypsum such as British Gypsum Ltd. and GB Railfreight Ltd., and DB Schenker Rail (UK) Ltd.
