Abstract: The article focuses on various commercial endorsements issued by the American Land Title Association (ALTA). ALTA has approved three endorsements, Forms 15, 15.1 and 15.2 which are similar to proprietary forms offered by title insurers for almost 30 years. It adopted a new set of title insurance forms for owners and lenders in real estate transactions.
