Abstract

The article reports that many Canadian provinces having offices in London, England are against the probable request of patriation from Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau. It informs that the provinces want the postponement of any decision by the British Parliament which would transfer all powers to Ottawa, Ontario until there is an agreement between the federal and provincial governments. It tells that Trudeau wants to establish basic concepts of Canadian law in the new constitution.
