Abstract

The article offers information on some wine regions in the U.S. The wine region in New Mexico, which was started by 17th-century missionaries, collapsed during the 1900 but recovered since the late 1970s. It cites Italian grapes as the focus of the Duchman family in Texas such as 2009's Vermentino wine. It notes that the Barboursville Vineyards in Virginia is proof that Old Dominion wines are worthy of global attention.
