SNPknow: a web server for functional annotation of cattle SNP markers.

The article offers information on SNPknow, a CGI-based web server for functional annotation for cattle single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) markers. The web server, which was developed to meet the immediate need for a framework of genome-wide association study (GAWAS), provides enrichment analysis for SNP microarray technology. The significance of SNPknow on the analysis of combining SNP association analysis with the gene enrichment analysis is mentioned.
