Comparison of the corrosion protection of mild steel by polypyrrole-phosphate and polypyrrole-tungstenate coatings.

The article presents research that compares the corrosion protection of mild steel by polypyrrole-phosphate (PPy-P) and polyprrole-tungstenate (PPy-W) coatings. In this study, the corrosion behavior was examined through a potentiodynamic polarization technique and open-circuit potential-time curves among others. The study showed that PPy-W coating provided better protection than the PPy-P and polypyrrole coatings.
