Abstract
- The article discusses a study that examined the rebinding behavior of bovine serum albumin (BSA)-imprinted calcium alginate-hydroxy ethyl cellulose microspheres. It proposes an imprinting induce-fit model that describes the rebinding property of protein-imprinted hydrogel. It details the discovery of three kinds of different interacting forms between protein and imprinted hydrogel using Scatchard analysis. Findings indicate higher imprinting efficiency in microsphere samples with lower cross-linking density.
