Abstract
- The article presents a study on the morphology, melting behavior and nonisothermal crystallization of polypropylene (PP)/linear bimodal polyethylene (LBPE) blends. The researchers used a PerkinElmer DSC-7 apparatus to record heat flow during the nonisothermal crystallization and melting processes. They found that the LBPE did not affect much of the PP crystallization mechanism but it increased the crystallization rate and reduced the crystallization activation energy.
