Abstract

The article presents a study on the preparation, phosphorescent behavior and material properties of the polymer-phosphor composites. These composites were prepared by melt mixing or extrusion methods. Scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy were used in determining the morphology of the polymer and the composites. The study concludes that the ethyl vinyl acetate-phosphor composites are more crystalline.
