GLYTOL TECHTOUR: New Varieties Offer the Complete Package.

The article reports on the release of four FiberMax cotton varieties of the anticipated Bayer CropScience GlyTol trait technology in 2011. This will reportedly enable growers to have new options for selecting herbicide and more flexibility in operations, but the germplasm to go along with the technology is also needed. It is shown that the new varieties including the FM 9101GT, FM 9058F, FM 9103GT and FM 2011GT are all well-suited for the High and Rolling Plains regions of the Southwest.
