Fed up with the European Union.

The article examines political attitudes in Germany towards the European Union (EU) and the economic policies of the euro area monetary union. An increase in opposition to the EU's economic assistance to Greece due to that country's financial crisis and to the entire concept of European integration is considered. Economic benefits to Germany from the creation of the euro area are discussed.
