Abstract
- The article presents a report on the British government's development of a competency framework for diabetes nursing. Various aspects of diabetes care and delivery of health services in Great Britain such as the National Health Service (NHS) are discussed. A brief history of diabetes nursing and an overview of the changing workforce are presented.
