Abstract: The article profiles Linda D. Molm, a professor of sociology at the University of Arizona who was also the winner of the 2009 Cooley-Mead Award for distinguished career contributions to social psychology. A discussion of Molm's sociological research career, and of the various contributions that Molm and her research have made to knowledge of social psychology, is presented. In the article the author offers opinions on several important results which have been derived from Molm's sociological research.
