Abstract
- The article focuses on the Millenium Development Goals (MDGs) 4 and 5 which aims to improve the child health in South Asia. It mentions several maternal and newborn health indicators including postpartum care were provided in various countries including India, Nepal, and Pakistan to meet the MDGs 4 and 5. It states that it also promoted and implemented regional initiatives such as the multi-country healthcare professional association (HCPA) workshop to share best practice and guide HCPA.
