Abstract
- The article discusses a study which examined the excavated dental material of the late Miocene hyaenids, Percrocuta carnifex and Adcrocuta eximia latro, from the Siwaliks of Pakistan. It cites the well exposed left mandibular ramus with p3-m1 of Percrocuta carnifex that was discovered at the Nagri Formation near village Nagri Sethi in Pakistan. The abbreviations used in the study are also cited, including P1 for first upper premolar, AMNH for American Museum of Natural History, and p2 for second lower premoral.
