Abstract

The article focuses on a study that examines the effect of silicon and aging on fracture response mechanical properties of drawn high-strength pearlitic steel wire. It notes that eutectoid and hypereutectoid pearlitic pearls are some of the strongest mass-produced commercially available steels. It also highlights the integration of torsion test, which is a critical test in measuring the ductility of high strength steel wires.
