Abstract
- The article offers information on a research conducted on collagen induced with arthritis, that increases secondary metastasis in metastatic mammary gland tumors (MMTV)-polyoma virus (PyV) middle T-antigen (MT) of mammary cancer. It states that metastasis associated with breast cancer increases in arthritic conditions, and blocks the Interleukin (IL)-17 and cyclooxygenase (COX)-2 pathways, which reduces the development of secondary metastasis in a model induced to develop arthritis.
