Abstract

The article presents a study which examines the role of T cell subpopulations in determining patient outcome in colorectal cancer (CRC). It mentions the T cells with regulatory effect have been identified as enhancing and diminishing anti-tumour immune responses. It founds that there was no association between T cell populations and cancer recurrence. Further it concludes that the study shows that frequency of T cell subsets in lymph nodes may not play a significant tool for predicting patient outcome.
