Abstract: Discusses four mistakes that prevented the U.S. from possibly thwarting the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, after revelations that President George W. Bush had been briefed in August 2001 by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) that al-Qaeda, headed by Osama bin Laden, might hijack airliners.
