Abstract
- The article focuses on soldier modernization as a way for North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) members to prepare their troops for future battle needs. NATO allies have their own soldier modernization programs which involve the new Felin kit. Other nations are also working on their own programs such as ComFut (Combatiente del Futuro) of Spain, the IdZ (Infanterist der Zukunft) infantry system of Germany and Soldato Futuro modernization program of Italy.
