The article offers information on the autonomic functions and response to neural circuit controlling in medicinal leeches. It is mentioned that the leeches presents well-defined behaviors and autonomic responses and the focus of the study is on the pattern of swimming, crawling and heartbeat. Also, information on the decision making ability, and mutually exclusive behaviors that are expressed at neuronal levels is presented.
