Intersections of Practice, Research, and Policy in Music Teacher Education.

The article discusses the interrelationship of work areas such as practice, research and policy in music teacher education. According to the author, certification of teachers educators mostly depends on their experience, cultural backgrounds, service learning and their response to student's different problems. It is mentioned that Society for Music Teacher Education (SMTE) and Society for Research in Music Education (SRME) have helped in the expansion of research on music teachers and music teacher education.
