Abstract

The article discusses the different types of sales branches and the problems associated with their operation. According to the author, two theories arise from the methods of operating sales branches: strict control by the main headquarters and independent operation of the individual branches by the branch manager. The typical personnel that makes up a sales branch is outlined, as well as their respective duties. Furthermore, some of the problems that arise from the operation of sales branches include insufficient control by branch managers as well as many of the problems associated with running a business in general. The author includes some solutions to the problems of branch operations.
