THE NEED FOR AN ADEQUATE SURVEY OF DOMESTIC BUILDING REQUIREMENTS.

The article explains why there is a need for an adequate survey of domestic building requirements. An overview of the current stagnation in residential construction and the importance of surveys and accurate data in helping stabilize construction and decrease costs is presented. The absence of accurate data and the lack of uniformity as to methods used are discussed. The article suggests a program for a proposed survey based supply and demand, improved production methods, financing, and competition.
