Abstract

The article offers the author's insights on physical science in England. The author says that Alexander and Archimedes still regard their influence upon the existing human world of 1843. He says that in France, England, and Prussia, in every city of the civilized nations, Syracusan find the pulley, lever and the mirror as well as trace his min in the steam-engine, power loom, and in the building of the Royal Exchange.
