Abstract: The article offers information on the 86 members of Mr. Parnell in the new Parliament wherein 23 had collegiate education, nine lawyers, and three physicians. It says that some of the members also include the former Lord Mayor of Dublin, Ireland, a Baronet, and a Knight. It mentions that the members are mostly men from the middle classes who were publicans and artisans. Moreover, the Tories states that the system of non-payment members will spread to England.
