Abstract

The article focuses on the Sugar Maple, which belongs to the maple and sycamore families and grows in Canada and northern U.S. It says that the Indians and settlers get large amounts of sugar from the Sugar Maple's juice. It explores the processes on how sugar-makers obtain the sugar from the tree's juices which begin in March. It adds that a good Sugar Maple may yield sap to produce around four pounds of sugar each year.
