Abstract
- The author discusses the changes made to the National Health Service (NHS) in Great Britain. She mentions that a key alteration is to shift duty for commissioning services to general practitioners (GPs) responsible for determining how to spend approximately 80% of the budget of the NHS. She states that organizations owned by NHS that operate hospitals will be converted to the status of independent Foundation Trust.
