Abstract

The article discusses a study on a Maximum Entropy Production (MEP) solution for climate model. It mentions the application of its hypothesis to a four-box model of climate which answers for horizontal and vertical material heat fluxes. It also notes that the solution is found with realistic temperature and fluxes along with the involvement of meridional and vertical entropy production terms in the maximization making it applicable to each subsystem.
