Abstract
- The article provides an overview of the economic policy in Taiwan as of January 2012. It talks about move of Tsai Ing-wen to attack the failure of Ma Ying-jeou to meet his economic targets for his last term in office. It also discusses the decision of the board of the Central Bank of China (CBC) to maintain the discount rate, the rate for accommodations with collateral and the rate for accommodations without collateral.
