Abstract
- The article presents a study which examines and evaluates the safety of recommended daily metals intake of females in Osaka, Japan. The study used reduction vaporizing method to measure mercury, fluorophotometry to measure selenium, and the flameless atomic absorption spectrophotometry to measure chromium (Cr), zinc (Zn), and manganese (Mn). Results show that the daily intake of cadmium (Cd), lead (Pb), and nickel (Ni) varied from 20 to 80 times of the minimum levels.
