Abstract

The article focuses on confined-spaced rescues initiated by firefighters following the bombing of Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on April 15, 1995. It notes that firefighters who responded with the incident had encountered a massive building collapse with extremely heavy lift challenges. It mentions that during the rescue event, firefighters are not yet equipped in handling below-ground rescues with a large structure collapse.
