The article focuses on the study conducted to examine significance of ceramics in the external cylindrical plunge grinding. It mentions ceramic materials plays important role over other materials. Ceramics has the capability of operating at high temperatures, high hardness and have high wear resistance. It also explores the method of lubrication in the cylindrical grinding using the technique of minimum quantity of lubrication (MQL).
