POROSITY SEALANTS FOR WIRE HARNESSES.

The article focuses on porosities and porosity sealing for wire harnesses. Porosities in wire harnesses such as micro voids, holes and leak paths trap water, salt and other chemicals that promote internal corrosion. Porosity sealing, also called vacuum impregnating and polymer impregnating, is the method used to fill the leaks which uses low-viscosity methacrylate as sealant. Porosity sealing of wire harnesses can be made using wet vacuum, wet vacuum and pressure or dry vacuum and pressure.
