Abstract

The article offers information on problem-based learning (PBL) in mathematics. It says that the implementation of PBL entails the redesign of curriculum and the development of effective facilitation-cum-coaching approaches. According to the author, teachers must find out where the learners are in order to challenge them with investigations and problems that have a moderate mismatch with the present status of learners.
