Abstract

The article offers information regarding the different views of Myron C. Taylor and James G. McDonald on Zionism and the Jewish state. It discusses the involvement of Taylor and McDonald in Jewish refugee affairs during the pre-holocaust and holocaust years. Taylor joined the opponents of a Zionist solution when the Jewish refugee problem became smaller. On the other hand, McDonald continued to support the Zionist demands for the abolition of the White Paper, the opening of the doors of Palestine to the Saving Remnant and for the subsequent establishment of a viable Jewish state in Palestine.
