Abstract

The article presents three climate models to analyze the magnitude and timescales of surface temperature feedbacks since feedbacks play a significant role in determining the characteristics of climate. It states that a linear systems approach was used to split feedback with their time constants and corresponding feedback amplitudes. It indicates the need to measure decadal and centennial feedback processes to realize climate model projections' range.
