Abstract
- The article discusses the achievements of the British School of Athens in 2009-2010 in the context of its traditions, shifting focus and future plans. It refers to the period as of transition as established field projects draw to a close and new ones are beginning such as changes in the way research is conveyed to the everyone including those less connected with the school. It cites a project completed in 2009-2010 at Plataia in Boeotia where remarkable discoveries were made.
