Abstract

The article offers implementation details on the integration between a security suite and a cooperative algorithm in autonomous mobile sensors. It discusses the use of an underwater acoustic network to secure cooperation of the sensors. It explores the development of the security suite to ensure trustworthiness of the sensors. The performance of the sensors during an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) project sea trial held in Trondheim, Norway, in May 2011 is discussed.
