Abstract

The bone marrow transplant recipient is unique. Multiple sequelae may arise as a result of the procedure and many of these effects may be pertinent to the planning and administration of anaesthesia. The results indicate that knowledge of these idiosyncrasies accompanied by careful and directed evaluation of each patient should permit the delivery of safe anaesthesia. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
