Uncertain Political and Security Situation Challenges U.S. Efforts to Implement a Comprehensive Strategy in Yemen.

The article presents information on a study conducted by the U.S. Government Accountability Office about the changing security and political situation in Yemen which has led officials to rethink about their strategy of providing assistance for counterterrorism activities and civilian development activities. The strategy also addressed economic, social, and political grievances. Several graphs and tables on topics related to the assistance provided by the U.S. to Yemen are presented.
