Abstract: This article presents an editorial in both English and Spanish in which the author discusses the journal's activities during the year 2011. The inauguration of the online repository called the Scholarone Manuscript was completed in October, to which articles for publication in the journal can be sent. Information related to the submission of papers concerning Latin American history is presented. A chart containing statistics for original research papers submitted to the journal is also provided.
